Beach Time

It’s pretty much a fact that Spring will be a wash and hopefully we will all be ready to enjoy some summer time sunshine. I found some fashionable Turkish beach towels that I would love to share with you all. They make a decorative statement in your beach house or pool house. Quarantine Design

I am working on a creating a new space in my home but the current quarantine but a wrench in our plans. High Point Spring Market has been postponed until June which pushed back some order dates but actually has a silver lining. Spending more time with my kids, having time to brainstorm and actually spending continuous hours living in our home has given us more inspiration.

We spend so many hours driving around to our kids activities, grabbing a quick bite in our cars, rushing through our kitchens in the mornings until we sit down for a half homework/half kitchen dinner table. We need to see this as a moment as a blessing to enjoy our homes, our families and our lucky lives.

I had plans to do a quick shopping run for a client renovating her space in Florida, furnishing another client’s office space and picking up some additional furniture pieces for a residential project.

Hopefully when all of these tumultuous times pass, we can ease back into our lives of creativity and socializing with a newfound appreciation for our fortunate lives.

Quality Over Quantity

It’s always easy to shop for whatever is instant gratification or the cheapest possible option but this is not the best scenario when choosing the right upholstery pieces. NZ Designs

I am totally new to this format. Blogging was not my first intention to introduce ideas on how to balance the day to day activities of family life with the fantasy world of food, fashion and design. I am mostly reclusive with my work and kids keeping me fulfilled but there are moments when I recall my childhood travels, college friendships, single city dweller life before transforming into a busy mom. I juggle multiple projects and live for the chaos but knowing how to find a style to fit those daily transformations is why I decided to start this blog. Friends are always asking me to help them find a furniture piece, a beautiful fabric, an easier way to make a recipe for those last minute meals all the way to how do you travel with three kids? Hopefully I can give you some advice on how you can get it done with budget friendly advice.
